I’ve mentioned the Corona SDK as a way to create iPhone (and Android) apps without going the whole Objective-C route.
They also have a “Game Edition” that includes the Box2D physics engine that is just way cool. You know how the boards, rocks, etc., all fall down in Angry Birds? That’s the kind of stuff you can do with a physics engine like Box2D.
And you get that capability in the Game Edition of Corona SDK. It’s another $100 per year, but worth it if you’re a game developer.
