I’m getting off to a bad start for Devtober 2020…

…in that I didn’t make a lot of progress, but I did *something* today, at least.
Instead of working on a specific game this month. my plan is to put together a library that will help folks (including me) make platformers in Solar2D (the absolute best framework for making 2D games).
Several years ago for a game jam I got the bare bones of one working, but the character controller really needed a lot of work. Plus, the tile engine I used at that time no longer exists, so I want to put something together that works well and uses current Solar2D tech.
Not sure how “generic” I can make this, but I’ll be working on it with an eye toward being able to use it over and over — and even more, with an eye toward OTHER people being able to use it relatively easily.
Onward!
Libraries are cool Jay. I remember the Crawlspacegames one for Corona. So useful for upping your productivity! Good coding my friend. I’m sure what you make will be awesome!
