Many of you know I’m now a full-time student and that has me cutting back on creating tutorials. Not enough time.
So how is it that I have a new tutorial for Unity 2D game development?
Because my CS109 class is using Unity and since I have game dev experience I’m a “peer mentor” for part of the class, and I created some videos to help out my team. And I love to re-use stuff I create, so…
Be aware that this tutorial is for *beginners* only. For people who have looked as Unity and then shut it down with their head spinning because it’s just overwhelming. If you can already get stuff going in Unity, this tutorial isn’t for you. I’ll do some for you later. 😉
But if you’ve wanted an excuse to dive into Unity, maybe this is your chance! (And it’s free!)
What do you think of Unity as compared to Corona SDK. I have been thinking of jumping ship more & more. Corona is just not cutting it for me anymore. I am in the middle of ugrading my Touch Trains app to the new Composer API and I just having some many issues.
